Grievance Officer
How to raise a privacy or data-protection complaint with us, and what happens after you do.
1. Who handles complaints
In accordance with Section 8(10) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rule 5(9) of the IT Rules 2011, we have designated the following person as our Grievance Officer:
- Name: Hardik G.
- Designation: Grievance Officer, NiveQo
- Email: hardikganvir63@gmail.com
2. What you can complain about
You can write to the Grievance Officer about, for example:
- Your right to know, access, correct, complete, update, or erase personal data we hold about you;
- A wish to withdraw consent you have previously given;
- A concern that we are processing your data in a way you did not consent to or that is otherwise unlawful;
- Any other concern about how we are handling your personal data or operating the service.
3. What to include
So that we can act on your complaint quickly, please include:
- The email address (or other identifier) associated with your data on our systems;
- A short description of what happened, when, and what outcome you are looking for;
- Any reference numbers (e.g. ticket id, invoice number) that may help us find the matter;
- Where relevant, copies of correspondence that show the issue.
4. How we will respond
We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 business days of receiving it, and we aim to substantively respond — either by resolving the issue or by setting out next steps — within 30 days of receipt. If a matter is genuinely complex and we need more time, we will tell you in writing why and how long we expect to need.
5. If you're not satisfied
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India once it is established and operational under Chapter V of the DPDPA. Until that body is operational, the existing routes under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (including the office of the Adjudicating Officer under Section 46) remain available.
